Day 1 Hanoi Arrival

Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam’s bustling colonial capital. Our private tour guide & driver from Cyclo Travel & Leisure will greet you outside the baggage claim of Noi Bai airport and take you to your hotel in the city center. Day 2 Hanoi City Tour

Today you have a full day to explore Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas; Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone. Your city tour will take you to Hanoi’s key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and stilt house), the nearby One Pillar Pagoda, the Presidential Palace, the Temple of Literature, the Quan Thanh Temple, the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & West Lake, and one of the city's museums (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum). Day 3 Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight on cruise

After breakfast, your guide and driver from the cruise transfer you to the UNESCO World Heritage Site: Halong Bay. Spend 24 hours on a traditional Junk Cruise in the amazing bay: a natural wonderland composed of jutting limestone islands and sparkling turquoise waters. Arrive at the dock around noon and board your junk. Savor a gourmet lunch of fresh seafood onboard as we sail out into the mystical bay. In the afternoon, cruise around some of Halong’s many islands. Along the way visit one of the most beautiful limestone caves. Stop at an island cove with a sheltered white-sand beach and take a dip in the warm waters of the Tonkin Gulf (weather permitting). Day 4 Halong Bay – Hanoi

Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea, before setting out to explore nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk for breakfast then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay as we navigate back to Halong City. Have brunch on board the boat before returning to Halong pier. Your driver will meet you at the dock and take you back to Hanoi. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 5 Hanoi - drive to Ninh Binh

After breakfast and check out the hotel, take the pleasant drive to Ninh Binh in two hours.

Along the way, stop where you wish to take photographs of local villages and the surrounding landscape.

On arrival in Tam Coc Town, board your private sampan boat. For ninety minutes your private oarswoman / man will take you down the Ngo Dong River. Pass through the three caves that made Vietnam famous in the French film 'Indochine', Hang Ca, Hang Giua and Hang Cuoi.

On the way visit Bich Dong Pagoda, set among pink lotuses, the temple offers spectacular views of the surrounding area.

Back to Tam Coc Town to enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch.

Following lunch drive to Hoa Lu to visit the temples dedicated to Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang of the Dinh Dynasty (968-80), and Emperor Le Dai Hanh of the Le Dynasty (980-1009). The ancient Hoa Lu Citadel (most of which has since been ruined) once covered an area of three square kilometres.

Day 8 Visit Paradise cave in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park

After breakfast, your guide and driver take you for a day adventure to explore Paradise cave in Phong Nha - Ke Bang cave

Paradise cave or knows as (Hang Thien Duong) was found by a local man named “Ho Khanh in 2005”. The cave was researched by British Cave Research Association with a total length of 31,4km and was considered as the dried-longest cave in Asia. The cave has been forming over 300 million of years based on scientist’s prediction with wonderful formations. It looks like a secret city hidden underground and is attractive to visitors. You can go further 4,5km to enjoy the secrets inside the cave.

After relaxing, breathing and enjoying the fresh wind from the cave, you will change clothes, take special equipment and keep moving along the wooden staircase to see the first kilometer of Paradise Cave. Relaxing mat and light system are installed well, you can satisfy to admire fantastic of stalactites and stalagmites.

Finishing the First KM along the wooden staircase with tour guide’s help, you will keep moving inside the cave to discover the mysteries with your own headlight.

Passing a lot of obstacles and challenges, you yourself will see a colorful and shapely system of stalactites and stalagmites.

Back to Dong Hoi city in the late afternoon.

Day 9 Dong Hoi - Drive to Hue

After breakfast and check-out the hotel, take another long drive to Hue - ancient capital of Vietnam.

Day 10 Hue city tour

Spend an entire day touring the Vietnam’s former ancient capital. Start the day with a visit to the Imperial Citadel, home to the Imperial City and Forbidden Purple City – once the Emperor's private residence. The Imperial City was created in the 19th century and modeled on the Forbidden City in Beijing. The Imperial Enclosure houses many palaces and temples within its walls. In the afternoon, continue on your tour stopping at the Imperial Museum, Tu Hieu Pagoda and vibrant Dong Ba riverside market.

Day 11 Hue – Danang – Hoi An

Spend the morning on a private boat cruise down the romantic Perfume River to visit the Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) and the ornate Minh Mang's tomb. Enjoy lunch at a riverside restaurant before starting on your drive to Hoi An. Pass over the 500m-high Hai Van pass and stop en route in Danang for a visit to the Cham Museum and handicraft villages at the foot of Marble Mountain. Arrive in the sleepy riverside town, Hoian, in the late afternoon, check in at the hotel and then enjoy the rest of the evening free at your leisure. Overnight in Hoi An

Today you travel 40 km outside of Hoi An to the UNESCO World Heritage Site: My Son Sanctuary. Surrounded by the Cat’s Tooth Mountains, My Son is home to the ancient Cham ruins and is often referred to as Vietnam’s Angkor Wat.  Return to Hoi An in time for lunch then enjoy a free afternoon, for shopping, exploring or beachside relaxation. Day 20 Cu Chi Tunnels Half-day + Saigon City Tour Half-day

Cu Chi Tunnels are a network of underground tunnels begun in 1948 by the Viet Minh in their struggle against the French. These tunnels were expanded and used by the Viet Cong during the war between Vietnam and America. Americans called this the 'Iron Triangle' and was a stronghold of the Vietcong for almost thirty years

Depart from your hotel early in the morning for Cu Chi to visit the Tunnels. Walk underground in the tunnels.

Back to the city for lunch.

Then continue on the city tour with a visit to the War Remnants museum and former Presidential Palace. We conclude the day exploring the city’s French colonial architecture, stopping at the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office. Then visit Ben Thanh Central Market before going back to your hotel. Overnight in Saigon

Day 21 Saigon transfer to Cai Be -  Cruise from Cai Be to Can Tho with a visit to Cai Rang Floating Market

Transfer from your hotel to Cai Be. You board your comfortable river cruiser in Cai Be. After a refreshing welcome drink we show you our on-board facilities and your cosy cabin. As lunch is served, the boat starts cruising. Sit back and watch the fantastic scenery and the daily life of the Mekong Delta people.

In the afternoon you can disembark for a guided leisurely stroll through a village and the surrounding fruit orchards or rice fields. Meet the friendly locals and taste the local produce and fruits.

Get back on board and enjoy a drink at the bar or relax on deck as the sun sets over the magnificent water landscape of the Mekong river. The cruise boat will anchor for the night. The day ends with a delicious on-board dinner. You stay overnight on board on your comfortable river cruiser.

Day 22 Can Tho - Cai Rang floating market - back to Saigon

On day 2 you wake up well rested to the sound of the river and get ready for another exciting day of sightseeing in the Mekong Delta. At 6.30h the cruise vessel sets off for a sunrise cruise. Watch the locals go about their daily work drying exotic fruits and building ships on the wooden yards while enjoying an early breakfast.

After breakfast, we will board a sampan boat to Cai Rang floating market, the region’s busiest and most lively markets. Marvel at the sheer abundance of exotic fruits, vegetables and skilfully handcrafted regional products. We will pull up to the boats for talking and bargaining with the merchants. After the excursion to the market it is time to start the journey back to Saigon. From Can Tho we travel by road back to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon
