CaoDaism is indigenous to South Vietnam and the colorful and unusual murals inside will truly mesmerise. Then we board our boat to journey through Cai Be’s famed floating market. Here, we will experience how life functions on the delta, as we view the intricacies of commerce--how merchants purchase produce from local farmers.
We stop at a local working shop to see locals making their local specialties like coconut candy, rice paper, pop rice and sample some of them with a shot of local rice wine. Now it’s time to try out local wooden sampans and pedal down narrow natural waterways.
Get on land of an island to walk through fruit gardens before we taste some tropical seasonal fruits (such as longan, pineapple, watermelon, rambutan, jackfruit etc...) then go for lunch with delicious set menu.
Relaxing on a hammock before we ride a bicycle for 30 minutes to explore the village on a small country road.
